I’m a Texas guy that now lives in Hong Kong. I left my life as I knew it, to start a new life. One filled with unfamiliar sites, languages, foods, smells, culture and people. This “leap of faith” is still leaping, but I’m beginning to see the ground beneath me. If you ever wondered what it would be like to pack your bags, say good bye to everyone you know, jump on a plane to another world- then get ready. Here’s a look at life in Hong Kong… according to Ken.
Disclaimer
Moving to Hong Kong wasn't about following any personal dreams or ambitions. It was about doing what felt right and believing I was worthy of paying the price if everything fell apart.
My blog documents this chapter in my life, if for no other reason, so I have something to look back at and reminisce this period of my life. I enjoy my blog. It has done more for me than I ever expected or even knew was possible. I mean, it's just a blog, right? But for the blogger behind the blog [me!] it's so much more. Receiving emails from readers is such a treat. And no matter how sour that treat may be at times, I am grateful to have access to others views and opinions, so thank you.
What started out as a chapter with an emphases on a move, has quickly and appropriately transitioned to one of change. I hope you enjoy my blog and please keep the comments coming!
Thanks for stopping by.
~Ken
